For a wonderful couple from Colorado, Jennifer designed a “forever home” on a view property in Poulsbo, WA. Steel V shaped columns and L shaped windows are featured in the subtle modern qualities of this home tucked into a traditional neighborhood.
TopThis residential project is located in downtown Tacoma, WA. There are 35 units on 6 levels, with a rooftop patio and three levels of parking. Jennifer acted as project architect, project manager and Artist of Record for the project, with the inclusion of a 50-foot-tall copper clad “curtain” which pays tribute to the theater district of Tacoma.
TopThis residential project was new construction with a view of East Bay in Gig Harbor, WA. Weddermann Architecture worked with the homeowner to design their dream home. Conceptually the family wanted a modern architectural sensibility with as many sustainable strategies implemented as possible: from in floor heating to passive cooling and geothermal, this home has reduced the family’s energy costs to a fraction of homes of similar size. The raw steel siding was fabricated and installed by Weddermann Architecture as well.
TopIn the north end of Tacoma, near Old Town, this home was designed as a forever home for an incredible lady. Ms. Landon wanted a place where she could have all her family visit and capitalize on the amazing view of the water. Nicknamed the “schizophrenic” house, the design expresses humility toward the traditional architecture of the neighborhood on the street side with a hip roof, and a more modern roof form dominates the interior.
